Home Mortgage Update Loan Rates Have Barely Budged brought to you by JoAnne Staler Tennessee REALTOR

According to Freddie Mac chief economist Frank Nothaft mortgage rates have barely budged because "the most recent economic news showed smaller increases than had been expected."  With this in mind, Home Loan Rates continue to be fairly stable and historically low.

Freddie Mac reports current Home Mortgage Loan Rates as follows:

Freddie Mac reports a slight gain in the 30-year fixed mortgage rate to 6.46 percent during the week ended Sept. 6 from 6.45 percent the prior week. The 15-year fixed mortgage rate climbed to 6.15 percent from 6.12 percent over the same time span. Meanwhile, the five-year hybrid adjustable rate slipped to 6.32 percent from 6.35 percent, and the one-year adjustable rate dipped to 5.74 percent from 5.84 percent.
