Nashville TN Home Sales Figures show second-best February on record

According to the Greater Nashville Association of REALTORs there were 2,575 home closings reported for the month of February, 2007 compared to 2,610 for the same period last year.  The decrease of 1.3%  has February, 2007 coming in as the second-best February ever for home sales in the Greater Nashville Tennessee area . 

In addition, GNAR reported the median residential price during February, 2007 was $169,900 compared to $164,900 last year.  According to GNAR, the 2007 President Richard Courtney said, "The continuation of Greater Nashville’s active and balanced real estate market is good news for home buyers and sellers throughout the region.  The number of closings during February shows that this market is sustaining a very aggressive pace."
