New Condominium Development in Nashville Respects Hospital’s History

Rolling Mill Hill redevelopment in the former General Hospital on Hermitage Avenue - residential lofts, townhomes & condos overlooking downtown Nashville

Many times I’ve gazed up to the majestic building that once was Nashville‘s General Hospital and hoped that someone would honor such a beautiful structure by redevelopment into a hotel or housing.  I’m happy to report, fear that the character such a historic building holds would be dismissed for demolition and replaced with "vanilla box" construction can now be dismissed!  Rolling Mill Hill, A 34-acre residential loft, town homes and condominium community is in the works.

Perched upon the highest point next to downtown Nashville, the site offers amazing views.  Coupled with the wonderful brick, and a history that can’t be fabricated, Rolling Mill Hill is sure to be a special place in which to reside. The Tennessean reports that "a plaza, a greenway, an overlook, retail shops, a grocery and coffee shop" are also in the plans and prices range from "$139,900 to $675,000".
